Liverpool Insider - Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a membership with Liverpool Insider, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of the Liverpool Insider website, app, membership, and the benefits associated with it.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:
• ‘We’, ‘Our’, ‘Us’ refers to Liverpool Insider.
• ‘Site’ and ‘Website’ refer to the website located at www.liverpool-insider.co.uk.
• ‘App’ refers to the Liverpool Insider app available via Spaces by Wix.
• ‘Cardholder’ and ‘Member’ refers to any individual who has purchased a physical card or subscribed to membership through the app.
• ‘Participating Venues’ refers to the businesses that accept the LiverpoolInsider Membership Card or app for discounts.
2. Membership and Subscription
• Annual Membership: Upon purchase, the membership begins immediately and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Physical Card or App-Based Membership: Members will receive a physical card or can use the membership tab on the Liverpool Insider app to be eligible for the participating discounts.
• Validity: A Liverpool Insider Membership Card is only valid if it is in the possession of the rightful owner and has not expired. The expiry date is printed on the front of the card. For app-based members, the membership status will display as “valid until cancelled.”
• Renewal: Membership renewals will occur automatically at the end of the term unless the member opts to cancel. For physical cardholders, a new card will be sent by post for the start of the new term. For app-based members, your valid membership will continue as usual.
3. Discount Usage
• Using Discounts: To receive discounts at Participating Venues, the Member must present their valid Liverpool Insider Membership Card or the app membership tab at the point of sale.
• Restrictions: Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions unless specifically stated. Discounts are per Member and may only be used once per day per Member.
• Discretion: Participating Venues may, at their discretion, refuse to accept the Liverpool Insider Membership Card if they have concerns about its validity.
• Identification: Participating venues may ask app-users to show their name on the profile page of the app. Physical cards should have a name on the front.
4. Liability Disclaimer
• Accuracy of Information: We aim to keep all information on the Website and in the App accurate. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy of discounts, business details, or other content on the Site, which may change without notice.
• Damaged or Lost Cards: Liverpool Insider is not responsible for replacing lost or damaged physical Membership Cards. Members are responsible for ensuring they have a valid card or app membership.
• Participating Venue Experiences: We are not liable for the quality or safety of the services or products provided by Participating Venues. We are not involved in the relationship between the Member and the Venue, and Members are responsible for their own safety and conduct at the Venue.
• Third-Party Content: Any content or promotions offered by third-party businesses or on external sites linked from our website or app are not endorsed by Liverpool Insider, and we are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of such materials.
5. Membership Cancellation and Termination
• Member Cancellation: Members may cancel their membership at any time by notifying Liverpool Insider in writing to hello.liverpoolinsider@gmail.com. Upon cancellation, the membership will remain active until the end of the current subscription period, and no partial refunds will be issued.
• Automatic Renewal: Memberships will automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
• Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a Member’s access to Liverpool Insider for breach of these Terms and Conditions or fraudulent activity. In the event of termination, any outstanding payments will remain due.
6. Pricing and Payment
• Payment: By subscribing to Liverpool Insider, you authorise us to charge you for the membership and any future payments upon automatic renewal for each term.
• Change in Pricing: If the price of a membership changes, you will be notified 14 days before your next payment is due.
• Processing Fees: All payments are subject to standard processing fees applied by the payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Wix Payments).
7. Data Privacy
• Personal Data: We collect personal data to manage your subscription, membership, and the delivery of offers. By subscribing to Liverpool Insider, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We will not share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide the services you have signed up for, such as with Participating Venues for the purpose of verifying your membership.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
• Modifications: We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Continuing to use our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
9. Force Majeure
• Force Majeure: We will not be held liable for failure to fulfill any obligation under these Terms and Conditions if the failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, technical issues, or the closure of Participating Venues.
10. Dispute Resolution
• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
• Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, we encourage Members to contact us directly to attempt to resolve the issue. If resolution is not possible, the dispute may be escalated to a mediator before legal proceedings are initiated.
11. Miscellaneous
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms and Conditions will remain in full effect.
• Non-Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in the future.
